Antenatal / Childbirth Education
Parents Centres New Zealand are by far the largest provider of antenatal education in the country, delivered across a strong network of 50 Centres.
Why should you attend Parents Centre Childbirth Education classes?
As trained education professionals, our exceptional Childbirth Educators are experienced and skilled facilitators who equip expectant parents with the knowledge and skills to have positive birth experiences through making informed choices that are right for you. The Childbirth Educator provides a range of information and facilitates discussion to support parents through pregnancy, childbirth and the care of your newborn baby. Hands on opportunities and practical knowledge are included as much as possible especially in the care of the newborn unit.
Childbirth Education classes also give you the opportunity to meet other expectant parents who are in a similar life stage, and form an on-going support network and lasting friendships.
Class content can be adjusted to suit the needs to attendees, and ensure that all of your areas of interest/concern are covered.

Our classes are generally held over a on 2 sundays , 2 weeks apart.
Classes are held in either Greytown, Featherston or Masterton depending on the needs of the group.
